It’s called “Princess” by Anders Morgenthaler, who is also known for Wulffmorgenthaler, the comic found in quite a few newspapers and of course the Internet.
It’s a very deep and sad story about a brother to an adult movie star called the Princess. She suddenly dies and the brother seeks revenge, also taking care of the daughter, Mia, left by her. He is after to destroy all the material that she had been part of, so that they, the sellers of the material, couldn’t benefit after his sister’s death.
This movie is targeted to the adult audience, so children shouldn’t watch it. It covers some very sensitive subjects, so be prepared to be a little surprised and/or disgusted. It contains some sexual content, gore and strong language. Yes. But it is worth seeing, I’ve actually waited to see it for a while after I read a review on the (believe it or not) TEXT-TV.
The animation was gorgeus, I especially seemed to like the facial expressions of the main character, August. Mia looked very cute, influenced probably by anime by her proportions and head size.
The ending… oh boy… it was sadder than a sad donkey eating some sad cereals sprinkled with some sour strawberry jelly. Yes, it was that sad, really. I won’t spoil, though, so you’ll have to either see the movie or google for the ending.
I ordered this movie from a swedish book site called Bokus and I am very satisfied with their service. Will definitely order sometime again. But, I also got some other goodies… nyahahah…
